Adrenal
Fatigue Description:
Condition in which the adrenal glands function at a sub-optimal
level all-day-long.
*
What Causes Adrenal Fatigue?
Stress and
anxiety. The stress can be
caused by blessed events such as a job promotion, move or the birth
of a child (and the sleepless nights that follow!) It can be
triggered by the stress and anxiety of financial
pressures, infections, divorce,
miscarriage, accident/physical injury, death of a loved one,
bankruptcy, unemployment, an unhappy marriage ...
Often
patients who have adrenal fatigue can be heard saying, "After______,
I was never the same." (How would
you fill in that blank?)
* Adrenal Fatigue
Symptoms include: Fatigue
in the morning:: It is
hard to get up in the morning even though you are a "morning" person.
Cravings: Salt, salty or high fat foods. Anxiety &
Overwhelm:: Everything feels like a
chore and it is harder and harder for you to get things done. Fatigue in the afternoon::
Energy
slump in the afternoons (3-5 pm). Energy picks up after 5:00 p.m. A
"2nd Wind" in the evening can make it difficult for you to go to sleep.
Insomnia:: decreased sex drive, mild depression, fuzzy
thinking and difficulty staying focused, extreme
sensitivity to sounds, easily irritated, becoming more isolated -
too tired for friends or favorite activities ...

Supplements for you and for him
It took a lot of trial and error - patches, potions, prescriptions and pills - to get it this simple,
affordable and effective.
Do you know what I mean?
In the morning with food and a couple of hours
before the cafe. Why? Coffee blocks the absorption so
you would not be getting the full benefit and you'd be wasting your money.
Two no-wins. If this is too difficult for you, just ease back on the coffee
and build up this caffeine free zone little by little, fifteen minutes at a
time ...
Be patient with yourself. Now that is
an energizing thought! So - here they are, Solaray One Every Day and the
Mega Multi Mineral. (Psst. My husband takes them too. We found out the
hard way (Insomnia) how important a good routine, with Magnesium and
Calcium, is for men.)
***
(All of my recommendations are in capsules vs. tablets. Why? They absorb
better.)
Afternoon energy boost. I take these 3 around 2:00 p.m. with a handful of walnuts ...

(Just added the adrenal caps to help boost my adrenals. Excellent.
In the evening about an hour before "lights out" and
sleep tight time we take ...
Extra --- Extra!
If it has been a really rough day and I feel extra wired I will also eat
a small bowl of cereal with almond milk. It is very important to be
asleep before 11:00 p.m. Our adrenals recharge between 11 and 1 a.m.
Don't miss that window.
