- chock full of the amino acid L-tyrosine,
linked to energy and alertness. (Love this!
Now I'm justified!)
Slow Down.
It takes 20 minutes for your body to recognize that you are
eating and that you've eaten enough!
Gobbling is stressful. It helps you gain weight & indigestion!
So - get away from your desk and the phone. Break bread with a
friend. You will both feel better for it.
Watch a
romantic flick - research shows
that even a few minutes of a romantic movie boosts our estrogen and
progesterone levels.
(What about a romance novel in the bathtub? I never do that - maybe
I should!)
Bathtub Bliss - a friend said she took baths 3x a day.
The kind that lasted for 30 mins. I thought she was weird. But,
then, one night I couldn't stand the hag look anymore
so I decided to give myself a 30-minute bath.
And then I forced myself to do it everyday.
I began to feel better.

Chocolate “Dark chocolate is abundant in theobromine
and phenylethylamine, compounds that send a rush of oxygen and glucose
to the brain to help fuel innovative thought.” – Jacob Teitelbaum,

Be A Quitter - for
good!
May sound a bit
radical but my tip is to QUIT! Review your life and "chores" and
obligations and drop one or two of them.

Blueberries ... just one serving of fresh or frozen
blueberries provides as many antioxidants as five servings of
carrots, apples, broccoli or squash. And, according to Susan Smith
Jones they are "packed with
anthocyanins which appear to be one of the most potent antidotes to
oxidate stress, a process that ages you."
So ... eat up! Start with breakfast and my

Resentful? Do you feel weighed down by past hurts &
resentments? Nothing is more tiring than carrying that heavy load.
How Diane Nichol’s dealt with her pain is an extraordinary and inspirational

Hormones? Fluctuations in hormones mean women
are more prone to missing out on a good night's sleep than
men are.
In fact, studies show that women
are up to 50 percent more likely to suffer from insomnia than their
male peers.
Breakfast - Just do it!
When you don't eat breakfast your blood sugar
drops which depletes your energy and increases your appetite for
food high in carbohydrates and sugar. Compliments

Sleep More. Sweet Less. Seek Green
SLEEP MORE – Sleep Earlier & Sleep
In whenever you can.
We adults need a minimum of 8 hours of sleep. This does not count
the time falling asleep or waking up from sleep. And, what about our
kids?
2 Months – 1 year 14-15 hours
1-3 years 12-14 hours
3-6 years 11-13 hours
6-12 years 10-11 hours

Walk Away.
Is a toxic relationship
sucking you dry?
You don't have to stay - you can, literally, walk away. Often the
simplest solutions are completely overlooked.
And,
those Energy Vampires can cross the line - phone line that is. The
phone version of the Walk Away maneuver is called
Hold It!
It's simple. Just ask
them to "Hold It." Push that hold
button & take a break. Take the time you need to collect your
thoughts, breathe deeply and relax. Then, when you
are ready, get back on the line and handle the situation calmly.
Feeling victimized is
tiring, frazzling - confusing. Remember - YOU have choices. Use
them!
